Why not join Dominic, SPICE Co-ordinator and Jane, Assistant Co-ordinator, at one of the Spice Thames Valley Preview below from 7.30pm (Presentation starts at 8.00pm). We will be there to welcome you and run through the basics of SPICE and how it all works. This is also the place where you can ask any questions you may have about SPICE and there are plenty of application forms should you decide to join on the night. It’s all very casual and relaxed, and you’re welcome to simply turn up on the night. If you don’t want to come on your own then why not bring a friend along?

You’ve taken your first step and joined SPICE, and the next step is to come along to your first event. I know this can be a daunting prospect when you don’t know anyone else in the group but there’s no need to be apprehensive SPICERS are a friendly bunch (people who do the kind of things listed in this brochure tend to have a lot to talk about!)! Most of us come along on our own to events so we are all well used to meeting and welcoming new people. We also remember what it was like booking our first event and turning up apprehensively not quite knowing what to expect! A great way of ‘getting into’ a group is by doing a team or social event like volleyball or bowling, or any event where you are ‘doing something’. Even better, try a weekend away and get to know a group of people well.
