Refer a Friend - Terms and Conditions

We want you to tell your friends and work colleagues about Spice – for which we will reward you with some fantastic prizes and vouchers towards your choice of fabulous Spice activities. Most of you do this anyway and this is our way of saying thank you!

We will reward you with 1 point every time you recommend a new member, or 1.5 points for a couple membership. All new members who joined since 1st September 2007 have automatically received 1 point to start them off. The more members you recommend, the more points you will accumulate, which can be used towards Spice events, weekends, and the chance to win the holiday of a lifetime!

The promotion will be on a rolling annual basis. Regular reviews will be held with rewards for the top scorer. We will publish regular league tables in the newsletter and on the website so you can see how it is progressing.

 

Rewards

There is no limit to the number of prizes up to the value of 20 points you can earn over the one-year period:

5 Points         

A £100 credit note to be used against Spice Thames Valley & Solent event - this could be towards a social event, like the Black Tie Ball, an airbourne or a motorsports event.
10 Points       

A £250 credit note - to be used towards a Spice Thames Valley & Solent event.
15 Points            

A £750 voucher – to be used towards a Spice holiday. This could be a chill out break or something more active, take your choice!
20 Points          

A £1500 voucher to be used towards a longer Spice trip. How about climbing Kilimanjaro or partying at the Rio Carnival?
25 Points        

The ultimate prize! – one opportunity only to win a £2,000 voucher to be used on one of the Spice flagship holidays - this could be the White Water Rafting down the Grand Canyon or whatever you choose.

 

The small print

  1. Available to Spice Thames Valley & Solent members only.
  2. The name of the nominatng member must be given at the time of requesting a new Spice membership. This can be noted at the enquiry stage and will be included if the enquirer goes on to join. New members will be given 48 hours of joining to advise who recommended them.
  3. Retrospective introduced members will not be included in this reward scheme.
  4. The new member must stay with Spice Thames Valley & Solent for more than 6 months. A note will be kept of resignations for calculating the competition results.
  5. For each winner, Spice retains the right to check all Spice memberships used for claiming prizes to confirm final figures as valid.
  6. Members must use their points prior to cancellation of membership. If membership has lapsed they will not be allowed onto an event or trip or holiday.
  7. Points cannot be converted into monetary value and are non transferable.
  8. Renewals of existing memberships will not be included. An existing member cannot lapse their membership then rejoin to earn points for another member.
  9. The incentive is for new members only joining Spice Thames Valley & Solent. Ex-members of Spice and transfers in from other groups are excluded.
  10. Employees of Spice are not eligible for this offer.
  11. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other national or local Spice offer.
  12. You can cash in points up to and including 10 points at any time.
  13. Information will be tracked via the Spice Book It system. Results will be recorded against the member’s reference number.
  14. The decision of Spice Thames Valley & Solent is final. We cannot enter into any further discussions.
  15. The prizes must be used for Spice UK and Spice Thames Valley & Solent events only. The amount can be split between more than one holiday if chosen.
  16. Holidays must be booked within 12 months of winning – but can be taken at any time.
  17. Spice Thames Valley & Solent reserves the right to close the promotion giving 6 months’ notice.
