Spring is here, so why not join us at one of our local Preview Nights to find out how you can 'Spice up your Life!'

Tuesday 23rd March: Oxford Spires Four Pillars Hotel, Abingdon Road, Oxford, OX1 4PS - Deacons Lounge

One of the Spice team will be there, easy to spot in a Spice shirt, waiting to welcome you and we'll have some great joining night suggestions to get you fully Spiced-up!
The presentation starts at 8pm and lasts about 1.5 hours. We will take you through the basics of Spice and how it all works. You can join on the night, so bring your bank details with you - although of course you are under no obligation to join. These nights are very casual and relaxed and you are welcome to turn up on the night.

This Easter, you could be...

Enjoying a tasty curry in Newbury, scaring yourself witless on an evening Ghost Hunt in a Victorian Fort in Hampshire, or testing your brains with fellow Spice eggheads at one of our monthly Quiz Nights. More adventurous Spicers will be Climbing in Ross on Wye and Land Yachting.

We have a Ramble with Easter Treats on Good Friday, and we'll be hitting the streets and bars of Oxford for an Easter Treasure Hunt - in fancy dress! (or Bunny Ears if you're a bit more reserved).

Those wishing to enjoy the Spring weather have a choice of two Sailing weekends - Sardinia or Poole, and ramblers have the choice of more than 5 walking weekends in Wales, Devon and the Lake District. Some skiers are also enjoying the last of the season's snow.

Wow! Sure beats decorating the spare bedroom! So why not join us - it could be the best decision you've ever made!

Vacancies

We have a vacancy for an Oxford Assistant Coordinator as Cara is stepping down to concentrate on her accountancy business. Cara will stay on as a highly esteemed VC, so you’ll still see her on the events (and ACG rambles). Cara has worked relentlessly in building the Oxford area, both in events and membership and we’d like to thank her for all her help and support over the last 18 months.

Michelle Webb will take on Cara’s duties from 1st March until we fill the role. Michelle brings lots of enthusiasm and experience to her new role, and we're sure you'll join us in wishing her well. If you would like to be considered for this role, please send your CV into the Spice office. 

We also have a vacancy for an U40 Berkshire Assistant Coordinator to organise 1-2 social events per month in the Berkshire area, to complement our U40 events in Oxforshire and Hampshire.

We’re also looking to recuit more VC’s to help us manage our ever-expanding programme. VC's must friendly, sociable and pro-active in promoting Spice via Facebook and other networking sites.
